I want to share with you all the fun that is German. These phrases are in no particular order, so don't try to make sense of it. Try using them randomly, and see if anyone understands you, it will be great fun, trust me.
ß: This is the estset, simply a double "s"
ö, ä, and ü: The dots over these letters are called umlauts, you pronounce it as if there was an "e" after each letter.

| Das tut wir weh. | This hurts. (say while pointing to a body part, for best results) |

| Wie späht ist es? | What time is it? |
| Ich liebe Deutsch. | I love German. |
| Ein Moment bitte. | One moment please (hold on a sec.) |
| Stimmt schon | Keep the change. (literally means "true already") |
| Haben Sie einen Wunsch? | Can I help you? (like at a store where people are too helpful) |
| Geh ins Bett! | Go to bed! (depending on how you say it, this can be very suggestive *wink wink*) |
| Noch ein (Kaffee)? | Would you like another (coffee)? |
| Wir sind zusammen. | We are together (as in dating) |
| Alles vertig? | All done? |
